The following trim covers can be easily scratched; take care in removing them to avoid damage. For the dashboard end caps, grasp the left end cap finger hold and pull out to detach it from the dash, then carefully detach the right end cap with a screwdriver, as it doesn't have a finger hold. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the driver's side under cover, remove the left end cap and the hood latch handle, then remove the screws to detach the under cover panel, disconnect the electrical connectors, and remove the panel. Installation is the reverse of removal. To detach the center bezel, grip inside the bezel securely and pull out sharply to detach the clips located at each corner, then install the bezel by placing it in position and pushing in sharply until the clips lock in place. For the glove box, open it, squeeze in on the sidewalls while rotating the door all the way down, and lift the hinge hooks at the base out of the slots in the instrument panel. To reinstall, insert the hinge hooks into the slots and rotate the glove box up sharply until the retainers snap into place. For the passenger's side under cover in 1999 and later models, first remove the driver's side under cover, glove box, and right side dashboard end cap, then remove the upper and lower retaining screws to detach the under cover. Installation is the reverse of removal.
