To remove interior mirror using a small flat blade screwdriver insert the blade in the notch in the mirror bracket, push up to the top of the windscreen to release internal spring and then pull off mirror by inserting a screwdriver in the mirror base. To reattach the mirror, position the mirror base on the mounting fixture until its internal spring locks in place. In case the support base has detached from the windshield, it can be glued back with the help of a mirror adhesive kit from the auto parts store. Make sure to clean the glass and the support base properly. After that follow the instructions on the package. Allow the support base to stick overnight before putting the mirror back on. If applicable, for the exterior start by removing the tweeter cover, base and speaker. To remove the mirror cover, use a small screwdriver to pry it off. Then disconnect the mirror electrical connector if it is a power mirror vehicle. Next, unscrew the retaining nuts so you can separate the mirror from the door. To install, do the reverse of removal.
