Mitsubishi Heater Core

The Mitsubishi Heater Core provides instant cabin warmth and clear windshields. It pulls heat from the engine and sends a steady flow of warm air into the cabin in cold conditions. Mitsubishi incorporates intelligent convenience and renowned engineering in its models. It aims to deliver high-quality MIVEC engines with superb power and fuel efficiency. The manufacturer also offers Super All Wheel Control for stable handling on slippery surfaces. Mitsubishi enhances driving through technological enhancements for driver-friendliness. Smart cruise control and smartphone link reduce stress, especially on long trips. The brand from 1870 makes reliable vehicles that feel easy to operate. However, it also has a reputation for forward-thinking ideas such as plug-in hybrid power, fuel cell research, and fleet tested urban electric cars. Thus, it manages to stay ahead of the curve without losing its practicality. Confidence in reliability is instilled in owners because these traits all share the same value. The Heater Core embodies this philosophy with its simple design, which allows hot coolant to flow through finned tubes and has a fan push the warmed air into the cabin and eventually back to the radiator, creating an efficient loop. Due to the radiatory structure of the Heater Core, heat gets dissipated very quickly while providing more function without the extra gadgets of your climate system. It ensures hot air even in long winter commutes. By connecting smoothly to the already efficient coolant flow and enabling the blend doors to make minor adjustments, this part contributes to Mitsubishi's ultimate goal of easy, safe, and comfortable driving.

Pick genuine OEM Heater Core if you want superb performance and durability that lasts. Mitsubishi builds that using high-grade materials and official factory techniques to meet very strict standards. This means you get parts you can actually trust for your daily drive. Finding the right parts is simple in the massive stock of genuine inventory. You can stop guessing if a part will fit or hold up. You will love the low prices, dependable service and the real manufacturer's warranty on Mitsubishi Heater Core. Order today and the store will ship your brand-new items to your door as fast as possible.

Mitsubishi Heater Core Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to properly remove and replace the heater core in an air conditioning system on Mitsubishi Galant?
    A:
Begin by having the air conditioning system discharged by a dealer service department or an automotive air conditioning shop. Next, drain the cooling system and disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core inlet and outlet pipes at the firewall by tracing the hoses, loosening the clamps, and disconnecting them. Remove the instrument panel, followed by the center bracket bolts, starting with the right side, then the upper section, and finally the left side. Take out the harness push-on fasteners from the center bracket and remove the center bracket from the passenger compartment. Disconnect the harness connector, then remove the right side vent and the joint duct from the heater control unit and blower housing. Remove the automatic compressor controller by disconnecting the harness connector, noting that V6 models have an automatic belt lock controller. Next, remove the center vent by taking off the mounting nut and separating it from the heater control unit. Remove the heater control unit mounting nuts from the upper section, front, and lower section. For 1999 and later models, remove the center reinforcement mounting bolts and nuts from the right side of the passenger compartment, the center section of the dash area, and the left side of the center reinforcement. Remove the blower unit by taking out the mounting nuts and bolts, then removing the assembly from the passenger compartment. Without removing the center reinforcement, install guide bolts into the left and right sides to keep it in position, and pull the reinforcement bar four inches forward for clearance. Carefully remove the heater control unit from the dash area, then remove the heater core retaining screws and pull the heater core out of the housing. Remove the clips from the heater housing, separate the two halves, and clean the coolant from the housing. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring to reconnect the heater core inlet and outlet hoses at the firewall. Finally, refill the cooling system and have the air conditioning system evacuated, recharged, and leak tested by the shop that discharged it.
  • Q: How to remove and install the Heater Core on Mitsubishi Lancer?
    A:
On air-cons models, you will need to disconnect the air conditioner evaporator refrigerant lines to remove the Heater Core. Thus, evacuation and recharging of the air-conditioning system will be necessary by an authorized dealer or air conditioning specialist. The system should be evacuated first, followed by draining the cooling system. In the engine room, unfasten the clips and detach the hoses from the heater pipes. Remove the refrigerant lines from the evaporator, sealing the line openings to keep out dirt and moisture. Throw away O rings. Taking out the dashboard should make removal off the front seats easier especially on CG and CH models. Remove the crashbar that separates the Heater Core and the driver's compartment for CG & CH models. For CE models, detach the ventilation duct from the upper section of the Heater Core, take out the screw that secures the lower duct, and extract both ducts from the motor vehicle. For CG and CH models, detach the air intake duct secured with screws located at the top of the blower assembly and the centre duct found at the top of the Heater Core. Disconnect the wiring from the fan motor resistor and evaporator temperature sensor on or near the top of the evaporator housing. In CG and CH models, to remove the blower motor assembly from the vehicle, remove the nuts and clip which retain this assembly to both the firewall and Heater Core, thus separating them. For models without air conditioning, remove the nuts retaining the connection duct to the firewall. For air-conditioned models, remove the nuts retaining the evaporator housing to the firewall. Withdraw the connection duct or evaporator housing as applicable. Take off the nuts holding the Heater Core to the firewall and carefully pull the Heater Core out without spilling any coolant into the vehicle. The heater core can now be slowly removed from the heater. The installation is the reverse of the removal. Ensure the heater core is firmly seated in the housing, then install the Heater Core to the firewall and tighten the retaining nuts. Establish the evaporator housing or connecting duct to the firewall. Ensure that it sits correctly in the Heater Core and air intake housing. Tighten up the retaining nuts. Determine the connection of the wiring harness to the fan motor resistor and the optional evaporator temperature sensor. Once the crash bar has been removed, can install the dashboard. Connect the heater hoses to the heater pipes, and refill the cooling system. Start the engine at the operating temperature and check the Heater Core's operation and inspect the coolant leak at the heater hose connections, make necessary rectifications. If applicable, have an authorised dealer or air conditioning specialist re-gas the air conditioning system.
