Q: How to remove the transmission (or transaxle), clutch, Flywheel, and Flywheel Ring Gear on manual transmission cars on 1985 Mitsubishi Cordia?
A: Open the flywheel or flexible drive plate by unbolstering the 6 crankshaft rear bolts. Other models have converter mounted ring gears; the converter would need replacement in case of replacement of the ring gear. Check/replace cracked, warped or worn plates and flywheels (runout to 0.005"), replace pilot bearing, test starter pinion and torque to 94-101ft lb.
