Coolant Reservoir Installation and Repair Tips for 1992 Mitsubishi Montero

  • Q: Where is the coolant reservoir located and how should it be maintained on 1992 Mitsubishi Montero?
A: The coolant reservoir (on the right fenderwell (left on 1990+ models)) is to be occasionally removed to inspect cracks/damage and emptied with clean water. To disassemble, unscrew the cap with the hose attached and lay aside, then pull the reservoir out of place and off the mount. Installation: Align and push down to fit and reinstall the cap.
