Have ignition off, disconnect electrical connector, remove shift cable nut, manual lever nut, lever, and Neutral Safety Switch mounting bolts. Reinstall reverse order. Adjust: position vehicle shift to Neutral, position lever hole to PNP flange hole, attach bolts, tension cable.
- Q: How to replace the Cruise Control Switch, Turn Signal Switch and Windshield Wiper Switch mounted on the steering column on 2003 Mitsubishi Galant?A: Steering-column switches, left signals/lights, right wipers/washer, remove without taking off wheel; a faulty canceling-cam in the main switch requires wheel removal.
