The fuses are either in the engine compartment or passenger compartment fuse and relay panels and when a fuse blows, one, or more components or circuits may not operate correctly. In order to replace a fuse, one must first remove the fuse box cover after which the fuses are inspected in order to identify which one is faulty. Take the fuse out of the fuse box, and check the terminals of the box, wiping them off with a clean cloth in case they are corroded. In case of terminals damaged they must be replaced. Next, plug in a new fuse of the same amperage rating and check for proper operation of the affected component or circuit.
