All models feature a pair of horns, which are positioned behind the bumper on the CE variants and behind the front grille on the CG and CH variants. To test horn-check for fuse and
Relay in engine compartment fuse and relay box located behind battery; If relay clicks, it is okay. An absence of a sound could imply the relay requires replacement. Support the front of the vehicle securely with jackstands, remove the front bumper on CG and CH models, then remove the bolts holding the horn to the chassis. Withdraw the horn partly, disconnect the wiring, and take it away from the vehicle. In case the horn is not working a battery power can be applied in the terminal and earth to the body. If it does not sound replace the horn. Restoration steps connect after removal and ensure wire coupling. The horn switch is part of the steering wheel and cannot be replaced separately; if it is faulty, the steering wheel needs to be removed. To conduct the test on CE models fitted with a two-spoke steering wheel, pull the horn pad away from the steering wheel. Take out the retaining screw and pull the pad away for 3-spoke models without an airbag. For models that have an airbag and use a 3-spoke steering wheel, switch off the airbag system, unfasten the retaining bolts, and detach the wiring prior to removing the airbag. The horn contact should register an open circuit in an ohmmeter check. In case of CG and CH models, open the connectors below the steering wheel and open the horn wiring. Now do continuity between the two wires while pressing the horn switch. When the fault gets indicated, replace airbag or steering wheel.
