Where is the coolant reservoir located and how should it be maintained on Mitsubishi Montero?

The coolant reservoir is located on the right fenderwell. This is periodically removed to check for cracks and other damage and flushed with clean water. 1990 and later models are on the left fenderwell. Gently remove the cap with the hose stuck to the reservoir and set it aside. After that, remove the reservoir while pulling upwards and sliding it off its bracket. Match the reservoir up with the mount by pushing down on it. Reinstall the cap afterwards to finish the installation.
