If you want to remove the Harmonic Balancer, first, disconnect the negative cable from the battery and raise the front of the vehicle and set it on jackstands. Next, take off the drivebelts and the bolts that hold the pulley to the Harmonic Balancer, then take the pulley off the engine. In order to protect the belt surface, wrap a cloth around the Harmonic Balancer. Then, use a chain wrench to secure the pulley. Moreover, hold the crankshaft in place and use a socket wrench to loosen the bolt. Carefully pull off the Harmonic Balancer by attaching a special tool to it. For the installation, lightly lube the seal contact surface with engine oil and position it on the nose of the crankshaft. Align the keyway in the pulley with the crankshaft's key. Then push pulley into place. It can be tapped if necessary. Prevent the crankshaft from turning, install the bolt, and to the specified torque tighten it. Finally, the rest of the parts are installed again in the reverse order of removal.
