Q: How to replace the fuel pressure regulator on 2000 Mitsubishi Galant?
A: Relieve fuel pressure, disconnect negative battery. Disconnect vacuum line from fuel pressure regulator; on 3.0L VS also disconnect fuel return hose and remove two regulator mounting bolts. Remove regulator, discard old O-ring, install new O-ring lubricated with clean oil or gasoline, reinstall, torque bolts, cycle ignition and check for leaks.
