    A: CMP sensor signals cylinder position for ignition and fuel injection. 1994-95 2.4L DOHC: left end of head; 1998 and earlier 2.4L SOHC and 1999+ 3.0L V6: inside distributor (replace assembly); 1999+ 2.4L SOHC: left end opposite timing belt. With ignition OFF, remove covers/ducts, disconnect connector, unbolt and remove; reinstall reverse.
