  • Q: How to adjust and reinstall the throttle stop screw and throttle body on 1.5 litre and 2.4 litre on 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer?
    A: On 1.5-litre models, when disturbed loosen locknut, back off stop screw until clear, turn in to touch lever and add 1/4 of a turn, tighten. To remove/install: disconnect hose and wiring, unbolt and dismount gasket, clean throttle body (avoid ISC/wax pellet and shaft bearings), lubricate shaft, re-install using new gasket, reconnect, check cable and coolant.
