To remove and install, release the steering column adjusting lever and then set the column to its lowest position. After that, undo the retaining screws of the instrument cluster cover panel and pull it away firmly to withdraw it from the instrument cluster. For CG and CH models, remove the panel containing the power mirror switch also. Next, unplug the cluster wires and by, unclip a couple of clips. Then, remove the instrument cluster mounting screws and pull the instrument cluster from the dashboard. Some CG and CH models, the cluster will have to come out part way to unplug the wire connector. For installation, place the cluster back in the dashboard. Ensure all wiring connectors are hooked correctly to the instrument cluster's rear sockets. Finally, tighten the retaining screws of the instrument cluster and cover panel properly. To dismantle the cluster, first, remove it and release the lens retention tabs and withdraw it. Never touch the face of the mask or gauges with bare hands to prevent any staining. Next, disengage the tabs that secure the mask and remove it. To remove the gauges, you need to take out the retaining screws from the back of the instrument cluster and withdraw the applicable gauge from the front. In case of removing a warning or illumination lamp bulb, rotate the lamp holder in anti-direction of clock and withdraw. Then, pull the bulb from the lamp holder. For fitting, place the bulb back into the holder and secure it by turning it in the clockwise direction. Ensure that the gauge is installed properly and tighten the bolts to hold the retaining screws in position. In the end, fit the mask and the lens, after checking and confirming the absence of dust or foreign matter and the secure holding of retaining tabs during the installation of the instrument cluster.
