To install or remove the rear seat cushion, find the two retaining clips on the front of the cushion, then pull each clip towards the front of the vehicle and then lift the cushion upwards to remove it. Then, lift the access cover using a flat-bladed screwdriver to prise up the cover and then lift it off the floor. Unplug the wiring of the Fuel Sending Unit, labeling it in relation to the
Fuel Tank so it becomes easier to install later and clean up around the Fuel Sending Unit to avoid dirt getting into the tank. Take out the retaining nuts and then carefully manipulate the Fuel Sending Unit out of the fuel tank and be careful not to drop anything into the tank. To install, seal off the Fuel Sending Unit again to prevent fuel leaks, install the Fuel Sending Unit in the same location as when removing it, screw in the retaining nuts as tight as possible, and make sure the wiring is in place.
