Mitsubishi Fuel Injector

Mitsubishi Fuel Injector delivers a fine mist of fuel, precisely balanced, ensuring that the air and fuel mix is always at the right proportions. This achieves fast ignition for every engine cycle, smooth power delivery, and cleaner exhaust. Apart from this smart metering device, the company has gained a reputational edge in the marketplace for reliability. Since the first Model A sedan to today, the car firm focuses on lightweight construction, efficient MIVEC variable valve timing, and Super All Wheel Control, which helps drivers stay confident on gravel, snow, and rain. The ease of cruise control and understandable smartphone link enables relaxed travel on a day-to-day basis, while ongoing studies into plug-in hybrids, fuel cell drive, and new safety sensors are an assurance of the future. The world over, the balanced blend of solid construction and functional sophistication defines the driving experience. The Mitsubishi Fuel Injector has a generic and universal application in that vehicle family. In a system that is returnless, controlled by the engine control unit, each injector opens for just a few milliseconds, spraying fuel as a mist toward the combustion chamber as the piston falls. The electronic solenoid is responsive and prompt, with stable pressure keeping the spray constant even during sudden throttle. The closure of the nozzle when de-energized stops leakage, which would cause wastage of fuel and flooding of cylinders. When working correctly, the Mitsubishi Fuel Injector provides quick start, steady idle, strong acceleration, and low emissions on all gasoline-powered models of the brand.

Pick genuine OEM Fuel Injector if you want superb performance and durability that lasts. Mitsubishi builds that using high-grade materials and official factory techniques to meet very strict standards. This means you get parts you can actually trust for your daily drive. Finding the right parts is simple in the massive stock of genuine inventory. You can stop guessing if a part will fit or hold up. You will love the low prices, dependable service and the real manufacturer's warranty on Mitsubishi Fuel Injector. Order today and the store will ship your brand-new items to your door as fast as possible.

Mitsubishi Fuel Injector Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the Fuel Rail and Fuel Injector(s) on Mitsubishi Galant?
    A:
To remove the injectors and fuel rail, relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. For the 1994 and 1995 2.4L DOHC models, pull the spark plug wires out. From 1999 and later models, drain coolant system. Disassemble the top intake manifold for V6 Models. Remove the vacuum line and fuel return hose from the fuel pressure regulator. You only need to remove the regulator from the fuel rail if you are replacing the fuel rail. Remove the screws, as on some vehicles you need to take the fuel supply off the fuel rail. To disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors, press down on the locking tab and pull off the connector. If your vehicle is a 1999 or later four-cylinder, discard the throttle body. Take off the fuel rail mounting bolts and.use compressed air or carburetor cleaner to clean around each injector. Take off injectors and fuel rail assembly as a single piece. Be careful to take off and store the spacers that sit between the fuel rail and the intake manifold. On V6 models, unclip the retaining clips and pull the injectors off the fuel rail, while on 2.4L models, pull the injectors off. Throw away the O-ring seals and put new ones on. To install the injector, coat the new O-rings with clean engine oil. Then, install the O-rings on the respective injectors. After that, Insert the injector into the fuel rail. Place the injector and fuel rail assembly on the intake manifold, ensuring that the injectors are firmly seated and the mounting bolts are tightened. Ensure the fuel supply line and return hose are securely connected. Next, attach the electrical connectors to each injector as per the number tag. Prior to the installation of the upper intake manifold, ensure the upper-to-lower manifold gasket surfaces are clean and checked on V6 motors. The rest of installation is this order reverse removal. Once the injector/fuel rail assembly has been installed, turn the ignition switch ON (not crank) two or three times, after which you would visually check fuel lines and injectors for leaks. If you have drained the cooling system, refill it.
  • Q: How to test and service the Fuel Injector circuit and ensure proper installation of Fuel Injectors and the Fuel Rail on Mitsubishi Lancer?
    A:
To carry out an injector circuit test, first disconnect the wiring from each injector. Measure the resistance between the two terminals of each injector with an ohmmeter and renew any off specification injectors. Following this, connect a test lamp to each injector wiring connector one by one while the starter motor operates; the test lamp will flash at each connector. In the event that the engine control relay and fusible links do not work, check them. In the event the lamp doesn't flash on one or more terminals, check the wiring from the connector to the ECU, checking that the terminals on the ECU are clean and making contact. If no faults are found, a fault may be indicated in the ECU and so ECU power supply and earth circuits should be checked. If the test light flashes at each connector, the circuit works properly. To test injector working, plug them back in, start engine, and disconnect each injector one at a time for not more than five seconds, it should misfire each time. If not, the injector is blocked or sticking, and before removing the injectors for testing and perhaps cleaning (which requires special equipment), the ignition high tension circuit should be checked. To remove and install the fuel supply hose, you should reduce fuel system pressure, remove the bolts and disconnect the fuel supply hose and discard the O ring. In order to facilitate the release of fuel pressure in the system, loosen the fuel filler cap to prevent pressure build-up in the tank. If the vehicle is fitted with a fuel pressure regulator, disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator. Next, release the clamp and disconnect the return line. Unplug the wiring connectors from the fuel injectors, then remove the retaining bolts and pull out the fuel rail and injectors from the engine, preventing the injectors from dropping. Extract the injectors from the fuel rail and discard the O rings and grommets; remove the insulators from the inlet manifold. To install, repeat removal, renew the O rings, and grommets, lubricate these with fuel and install the injectors squarely in the fuel rail. After tightening the torque of the fuel rail retaining bolts, connect the return line and vacuum hose. Always use a new O ring for the fitting of the fuel supply hose. Also, make sure the wiring is connected to the injectors. Ultimately, assess for external leakage within the fuel system and adjust the fitting of the spacers between the fuel rail and inlet manifold. Finally, re-fit the fuel rail and injectors.
